Abstract: This is the memory published in the collection of essays entitled “The Golden Bond of Mongolian Studies” commemorating the 85th birth anniversary of Professor Jugderiin Luvsandorj (1939-2021), who served as a Mongolian language lecturer at the Department of Mongolian Language, Faculty of Philology, Mongolian State University (now National University of Mongolia) from 1968 to 1987 (Head of the Department of Mongolian Language in 1971 and 1980-1987) and as a professor of Mongolian studies at the Institute of Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts, Charles University in the Czech Republic from 1987 to 2021. This collection of essays was distributed at the “International Academic Conference to Commemorate the 85h Birth Anniversary of Jugderiin Luvsandorj” held in Ulaanbaatar in August 2024.

Abstract: This article is recollections of the “Mongolian-Japanese Conversation Book” (1980), which I co-authored with Luvsangonchigiin Baldan bagsh (1931-2015), who was a visiting professor at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies from 1978 to 1981 and was recorded in the 5th volume of Dr. L.Baldan’s “Academic Work Collection”, published in Ulaanbaatar in November 2021 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of his birth.

Abstract: This Mongolian essay was contributed to a collection of essays published in Ulaanbaatar in 2016 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Japanese language education and Japanese studies in Mongolia. As a Japanese teacher dispatched from the Japan Foundation, I was engaged in teaching Japanese at the Faculty of Philology, Mongolian State University (now National University of Mongolia) from 1983 to 1984.
